goodasgould asked: I thought I'd ask your opinion. I stopped watching Supernatural after the season 5 finale. I thought it was honestly such a great final feel to the story and once season 6 started I heard a lot of mixed to negative reviews and people said that they wished they stopped when I did. Does it get better? Should I go back and watch season 6 and on now?
They should have stopped after season 5. But they didn’t, and its only partially stupid. There are some sincerely cool plot lines, and if you want to watch some Supernatural, it’ll do. I liked season 6, but it was kind of a slow buildup, Season 7 was hit and miss, and season 8 is pretty good. Go watch it.
It’s just kind of a non-finale. Wow. Sam’s alive. Super cool. You could have, like, saved the entire human race from demons, but ok. Oh man. The angels fell. Either they remember nothing and are nothing, they remember everything and have powers and so its exactly the same, or they remember everything and have no powers and they’re just really annoying. Cas’s grace still exists. So he’ll get it back. And we’re back to square one. TEAM FREE WILL! YEAH! except nothing interesting is happening anymore. Sealing Heaven and Hell would at least be interesting. I don’t know, I’ve been wrong before, but it just feels like we’ve been here before, haven’t we?
